Once again, I was out on a mission with a girlfriend of mine, preparing myself for the spring show in March. We decided to meet over brunch at CIBO Wine Bar. Has anyone ever heard of it? They did a magnificent spread of meats and cheeses, salads, sandwiches, pasta, waffles, homemade pizza and so much more! We laughed, we ate, we worked! Sometimes it’s fun to get out on beautiful days like this one to mix a little business with pleasure.
I will be at the “Spring Show” at Chestnut Hill Recreation Center (previously known as the Pickering Valley Complex) is on March 29, 2020 from 10am – 4pm. I am currently coming up with Easter table ideas that will blow your mind! Not to mention my delicious cupcake creations that will be available for purchase. Make plans to attend, bring a friend out to the event, and be on the lookout for Lisa’s Cakes. You won’t be able to miss me because my “Easter” table will be out of this world! That is a guarantee!
I also managed to complete the Champagne cupcakes, and a rough draft of my Chocolate Dulce de Leche cupcakes too. They turned out okay, but of course, they are in need of a few tweaks before the big day. One of the most important rules about baking is to practice before you serve. That way, you can save time and effort by getting the mistakes out of the way to become more efficient in your kitchen. They will be a hit, and you’d better arrive early or you might just miss the goodies! That’s it for me. I will grab my tea and get cozy as usual! Happy Sunday everyone!
